I was also terrible in that I got McDonald's. Before I get crap for eating fast food hear me out.
- I haven't had it in over 2 months.
- They don't have one close to home.
4. One of the classes this week is about fast food. Also all I have been hearing is fast food in the breakroom.
The smell of those fries are so tempting. One of the teachers brought them in one day and we were all envious.
Okay enough of my guilt on to the main story. I went to a Korean Sauna, you walk around in your birthday suit and wash and soak and sauna until you decide to put on clothes and go chill in the common area where you can sit in ovens, eat eggs or korean food, exercise, play games or go on the pc or get your nails did. lots of options. Of course the nakers part is separated by gender but the dressed part is shared.
Personally, I really enjoyed it. There was no stating and everyone was very comfortable. There was alot to see and try and it was all decent priced. I even got scrubbed down by an 아줌마 and it was gross the amount of dead skin was coming off. If you have even used a pore strip on your nose you will know the sick facination that comes with see the gross stuff come off of you.
I didnt try alot of things because I didnt know they were there until I got rid of my towels unfortunately but I will know for next time. I can see it being a great winter getaway from the korean cold. I think it would have been better if I had someone who either spoke korean or just someone to chill with. Everyone was nice but it would have been cool to know what I was doing or have someone talk to. My goal going in was to get a scrub down but I wasnt sure where you paid so there was alot of stalking to see how it was done. Then again it was cool to explore on my own.
To top it all off, there was a homeplus in 야탑 so I got some groceries on the way home. I briefly wandered into the non food aisle and look what I found!
