My Experience
My overall Chungdahm experience has been good. I got in when my branch was at or just past it's heyday. The teachers stayed because the company treated them well and gave decent raises. Things have changed now since the contract changes and this is affecting the teachers' lives causing them to want to leave either the country or the company. It comes down to only a couple things that the company could change to be competitive with the others in the private education sector.
Money
Give people a raise when they deserve it. There were cases at the resigning where someone hadn't gotten a raise in two years because of *excuse*. They worked harder than most people. Give them a raise.
Respect
Senior instructors have built the branch to what it is. From programs to keeping class quality to a high standard. Yes, we cost more but it keeps students there.
Respect my time. If you have an even that is mandatory that you know about, tell people. Management knew about events months in advance but didn't tell people til 3 days before. It was on the weekend too so when people have made plans or are angry it is within reason.

Holiday
Other academies give vacation that can actually be taken and are notified ahead of time as well as given public holidays off as you should be.
Chungdahm will tell you 3 days ahead of time and will make you make up for it in the weekends either before or after. You have vacation days but you can't actually take them because they don't have any subs.
Trustworthiness
Too many times, I would ask from something simple like having a student in my class for the last term I was there(student wanted it too). I was told that it would be no problem as long and I told the staff and the student called in. We did and in the end was told... too bad.
Don't promise what you can't deliver 100%.

Recommendation?
Don't. Once upon a time I would have recommended Chungdahm but now they are asking for more while paying less. Their competitors are paying more, giving more holidays, giving more benefits and are giving more notice. There is also more room to grow. If you plan on staying longer than a year, even if you started with Chungdahm, move on after that. It is a sinking ship unless it changes.
